Neo Birth Pregnancy Care Centre is a non-profitable organization (Section 21 Company, 006/886), staffed by trained, supervised volunteers and funded through donations by the public and churches. It forms part of a national non-racial networking body called SA Cares for life; offering caring services to men, women and children in South Africa.

Our mission is to help women with regard to crisis pregnancy and pregnancy loss by offering emotional support, practical assistance, information and friendship. We offer help to anyone irrespective of her age, status, religion, race or what her circumstances might be. We respect a women's right to choose, at all times.

Neo Birth was established in 1993 after realization that there were are no facilities where a woman faced with an unwanted pregnancy could go for information and help. Most pregnant women who experience their pregnancy as traumatic, panic, are angry, afraid, depressed and very lonely. We reach out in love and compassion to them.

We at Neo Birth want to make sure that women facing an unwanted pregnancy, do not make a rushed decision while they are still in shock or panicking. We will give them balanced, non-manipulative information placing equal value towards mother and baby. We also render post-abortion counselling, and help those women who have undergone the trauma of an abortion or who have suffered a miscarriage.
